Empathetic and extremely emotional disability support worker. I say I am an emotional worker since I cannot let any of my patients feel that they are less than others. In this endeavor I discuss things and make sure my patients know how special they are. I am hard working and responsible. I attend to my patients' needs and try to make them feel loved. I wish to serve people and there is no better way than to help those who may not need us but definitely want to be told that they are just like the rest of us.

    I started my own services when I relized that my commitment towards my patient had to be more than what employee organizations expected from me.

    I look after my regular patients and visit them regularly. I help with daily household work and talk to them.

    I also make some of my patients follow the exercise routine designed for them. For the patients who cannot be treated to become better, i offer all kinds of services like motivational speaking, lifting morale and helping with all the chores that they cannot do on their own.

    I joined as a volunteer to help those who had physical impairments or mental disabilities and required a person to be around. I was made a regular employee after satisfied clients.

    I was responsible for looking after my patients and spending quality time with them that was to make them run errands, help with work or routine such as preparing meals and helping them around their work.

    I was responsible for making the patients feel good about themselves. This required a lot of talking and discussions about motivational things and disabilities along with strong will and mind power.

    Counseling

    I have been counseling people for many years. I provided counseling at school shortly and since then I have seen several patients.

    I assisted them with their issues and while helping them I realized that I wanted to help the ones who had real hindrances and not just mental stress that made their lives tougher.

    I joined the Serenity Group and based on my counseling record I took up the service of disability support worker.

    I took a first aid course as an additional skill.

    I have been using many first aid toips to avoid serious issues with my patients. It was a 12-day course that made a lot of difference in my understanding of handling those who may not be able to do it themselves.
