Responsible for placing orders for dairy products from selected distributors and farms. I was in charge of daily invoices record and also maintained a regular inventory list according to the bakery's needs.
I was also responsible for checking quality and then storing the products in refrigerators, along with the expiration date.
I was responsible for placing orders for products that were less on the shelves. For this, I had to take rounds of the shelves at night and make a list of the needed items. Calling and ordering distributors and suppliers was my duty.
I was also made in charge of recording the payment record for inventory. I had to check every item that was supplied and only after approval was it sent to the shelves.
I learnt the basic inventory clerk duties with the team. It was my duty to order fresh vegetables according to the need of the day.
I was in charge of checking and approving freshness and quality of all the vegetable that was recieved. Sometimes, I had to ftch the order myself, for which I had to be at the restaurant in early morning hours.
